It's been more than 2 years that Malaysian are not allowed to enter Hatyai for traveling due to the closure of the border. But starting 1 February 2022, travellers of all nationalities are allowed to enjoy quarantine-free entry to Thailand, including Malaysians.
Hatyai has always been a quick holiday stopover for Malaysians looking for an affordable place to relax with friends, family or couples. Good news to share, Thailand Pass is no longer required for all travelers starting on July 1, 2022! What travelers need to show when entering Thailand will be proof of vaccination cert or COVID-19 test results instead. Travel Insurance will not be mandatory but it is highly recommended to have comprehensive travel insurance when you travel to Thailand.

π Entering Thailand requirements starting 1 July 2022:
- Travelers require to show Proof of Vaccination or COVID-19 test results instead.
- Travelers require to bring their passport.
- Thailand Pass is no longer required for all travelers.
