About Susi Air Flight Service

PT ASI Pudjiastuti Aviation or branded as Susi Air was established in late 2004 with its main headquarter in Pangandaran, West Java, Indonesia. The airline started small with only two aircraft and has successfully expanded its fleet to 50. Susi Air was initially founded by Susi Pudjiastuti and her husband, Christian von Strombeck to transport fisheries cargo to Jakarta

64% of Susi Air’s operation is used for its regular domestic flight routes covering almost all parts of Indonesia. The rest is dedicated to chartered flights for its four main bases: Medan in North Sumatra, Jayapura in Papua, Balikpapan in East Kalimantan and East Jakarta in Jakarta.

Fleet by Susi Air

Majority of Susi Air’s fleet is made up of Cessna Grand Caravans aircraft making it the largest operator in the Asia Pacific region. The Indonesian Civil Aviation Authority listed Susi Air in Category 2 for airline safety quality. 

 Susi Air has 20 main operational bases in Indonesia. The airline has employed more than 140 pilots to cater to the services within these areas with 75 professional aircraft engineers and mechanics as well as 650 ground staff to maintain a smooth flow for every flight operation by Susi Air. 

Susi Air Check-In Time and Facilities

Operating a standard check-in procedure, the airline’s check-in counter opens 2 hours before departure time and closes 30 minutes prior to a scheduled departure. Electronic flight ticket or its photocopy must be presented upon check-in. Late check-in will not be considered on a flight and no refund will be given.

Susi Air Baggage Allowance

Baggage allowance for Susi Air is 10 kg. Checked-in baggage that exceeds free baggage allowance will be charged on a per kg basis. For cabin baggage, each passenger is allowed one piece of baggage not exceeding the dimension of 30 cm x 15 cm x 10 cm and not weighing more than 6 kg. Overweight or oversize baggage will be checked and carried in the cargo hold or refused carriage.
