About Xpress Air Flight Service

Founded in 2003, Xpress Air marked its establishment as the first privately-owned and scheduled airline serving in the Eastern part of Indonesia. This Domestic Regular Airline has also served international flight routes to its neighbouring country, Malaysia in the year between 2005 and 2014. Xpress Air was initially named as Express Air but was rebranded to Xpress Air later in 2012 to show its modern portrayal as well as to retain the airline’s culture and tradition in the industry. As one of the many airlines in Indonesia, Xpress Air is verified by Indonesian Civil Aviation Authority with the support of PT Aera Nusantara Indonesia (ANI) to be in category 1 for airline safety quality.

Fleet and Seating Class by Xpress Air

Began its operation with two Boeing 737-200, Xpress Air now serves a fleet with 11 aircraft whereby each one is well-configured to accommodate passengers’ comfort. The airline offers Economy flights separated into three distinctive options namely Promo Economy, Normal Economy and Flex Economy.

Like other airlines, it is important to keep in mind to make a flight check-in 45 minutes prior to departure time to avoid onboarding cancellation. Each seating class is differed by in-flight features and budget to cater to distinctive budgets. Economy Class seats are all structured with 29 inches of space to ensure comfort during each flight.

Xpress Air Baggage Allowance

Flights by Xpress Air offers a baggage allowance of 10 kg for its Dornier aircraft and 20 kg for Boeing. For extra weight and additional baggage, an extra fee will be charged accordingly for a specific amount.
