Other noteworthy pagodas you should be visiting too are Xa Loi, Hoang Phap, Nam Thien Nhat Tru and Ngoc Hoang.
Water Puppet Shows
You have never fully seen a puppet show until you have witnessed the traditional Vietnamese Water Puppet Shows. There are two places that you can watch this fascinating cultural show which are located at the Villa Song Saigon and The Golden Dragon Water Puppetry Theatre. Accompanied by old-fashioned music performed live, you will be entertained by the puppet show staged on water which to tell a story of the Vietnam culture and traditions. Though it may be performed in Vietnamese, you will still be fascinated by the show nevertheless.
Central Post Office
The interior of the Central Post Office will make you gasp. This is definitely the grandest post office in all of Southeast Asia by far. Gustave Eiffel who also designed the iconic Statue of Liberty in New York City and Eiffel Tower in Paris helped to bring this Gothic-styled Saigon Central Post Office to life. Inside this majestic building that was opened in the year 1886, French colonial maps with a portrait of Ho Chi Minh on the dome-shaped roof inside. Over on the opposite side, you can also find the amazing Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica of Saigon built by the French colonists. These two places are absolutely picturesque. Over here, you can find two bell towers that goes up as high as 58 meters.
