Located in the District Town of Warin Chamrap in Ubon Ratchathani Province, Ubon Ratchathani Railway Station is situated approximately 575.1 kilometres from Bangkok Railway Station. The station was opened in April 1930 as part of the North-Eastern Line between Si Sa Ket and Ubon Ratchathani.
The station is serviced by white bus #2, covering routes between Chayangkul Road and Upparat Road, crossing the Rattanakosin Bridge over the Mun River. The bus service conveniently picks up passengers from most hotels except those farther from main streets like Laitong and Tohsang.
The station is about 3 km from Ubon city. Travelers can use tuk-tuks, motorcycle taxis, or the number 1 minibus line. Tuk-tuks and motorcycle taxis are readily available, but it is advisable to agree on the fare beforehand. The number 1 minibus offers an economical option for 8 Baht.
