Travellers can opt for taxi rides from either Sultan Mahmud Airport or Kuala Terengganu bus station to get to Merang Jetty. Travellers are advised to take the local public bus as it is the cheaper option of public transportation compared to taking the taxi that may cost a fortune. From Kuala Terengganu bus station, take a 45-minute bus directly to the nearby bus stop at Merang Jetty, depending on the traffic. From there, it is a 10-minute walk to the jetty.
