Temple of Literature

• Also known as Temple of Confucius in Hanoi
• Initially served as a college in 1070 under Ly Thanh Tong’s dynasty, to honor Confucius and at the present time to celebrate the doctorates and high rank scholars of Vietnam.
• The building is a brilliant illustration of Vietnamese design.

• Two overflowing with finished greenhouses.
• There are 82 tombstones, with names and origins of 1307 doctors.
• The a statue of Confucius and his principals .
• The Thai Hoc that house holds a small collection of old time costumes.
• The Fine Arts Museum, directly behind the Temple, and, also, a touch of shopping at Craft-Link.
