Behrang Railway Station is a train station operated by the Malayan Railway or publicly known as the KTMB (Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad). This train station is stationed at the south-eastern side of Perak and named after the town of Behrang itself.
The train station once stopped its operation and had reopened in 2007. There is a freight yard at one end of this Behrang Railway Station that was made prior to the Rawang-Ipoh Electrified Double Tracking Project.
Unfortunately, ticketing counters at this train station have been permanently closed. Behrang Railway Station serves the ETS train services of the Ipoh towards KL Sentral route. This train route only operates one stop per day.
Currently, no available local public transportation services serve trips to Behrang Railway Station. Travellers and locals will need to opt for other option such as taking a taxi or car-sharing ride from nearby Bus Stand Tanjong Malim towards the train station. The journey from the bus stand to the train station takes about 11 minutes to arrive.
From Slim River Bus Terminal, it takes an approximately 13-minute drive to get to Behrang Railway Station. If travellers are driving from within the town area to the train station, it can take from 2 to 10 minutes to reach there depending on the traffic situation.
