The Sumber Alam bus company has undergone several transformations in its development. Around 1969, PO Tresno was established, pioneered by Mrs. Thung Tjie Hing, the grandmother of Mr. Judi Setijawan Hambali, then after Mrs. Thung Tjie Hing passed on the business to her children and grandchildren, the company name changed to PO Hidup Baru.
In 1975, PO Sumber Alam was established as a family business, at the beginning of its operation, PO Sumber Alam only used 6 buses. And in 1984, Mr. Judi Setijawan Hambali's younger and older siblings no longer wanted to take part in developing the PO Sumber Alam business. With the existing experience and strong desire to develop this business, Mr. Judi Setijawan Hambali finally continued this business and was assisted by his wife, Mrs. Retno Harlani Judana.
To achieve the company's goals, every PO. SUMBER ALAM employee must have a hard-working, honest, open and never-give-up attitude in providing services to the community.
