Bas Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS)

Terminal Bersepadu Selatan

Millions of tourists visit Malaysia every year, whether from overseas or locals travelling around for work and holidays. The demand and number of trips made every day are tremendous, so the idea to build a new terminal to help ease traffic congestion in Kuala Lumpur city centre became a reality in 2011. Located next to Bandar Tasik Selatan (BTS) station in KL, Terminal Bersepadu Selatan is the largest bus terminal in Malaysia to date. Known as TBS, this station was opened to the public on 1 January 2011 and has helped reduce road congestion by allowing all express buses to stop here for all pick-ups and drop-offs. TBS has certainly made travelling easier for many people, and Easybook is also here to help you book your tickets with ease.

With the integration of TBS and BTS, travellers can reach their destinations easily under one roof with convenient connections to the Express Rail Link (ERL), Keretapi Tanah Melayu (KTM), Rapid KL and the new Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) train station. This also means getting there is easy too, as the services mentioned above are available across Kuala Lumpur and can be reached within half an hour from KL Sentral, for example.

How To Get To TBS Bus Station

If you are coming from Kuala Lumpur city centre, here is a quick guide to get to Terminal Bersepadu Selatan on a reasonable budget. The first option might be taking a taxi to TBS, which has a taxi stand at L1 Terminal (across the bridge from the main building). However, it may be quite expensive. So, train services such as Komuter, LRT, or KLIA Transit are the best options if you are coming from the city centre. Although you may need to change trains at a few stations, the directions are easy to follow as they are available in English. If needed, you can seek assistance at the customer service counter.

How do you get to the Bandar Tasik Selatan train station from the TBS building? When you arrive at the TBS platform, take the escalator and walk towards the station. On Level 3, follow the signs to the Transit Station and turn right when you see the Point convenience store on your right. You will see the connecting bridge leading to the other train stations at BTS. Go down to Level 2 using the lift or stairs. There, you will see signs showing directions to KLIA Transit on the right or KTM Komuter and Rapid KL straight ahead. Continue walking until you see the Rapid KL signs, and you will arrive at Bandar Tasik Selatan Station. Tickets can be purchased at the ticket machines that display a route map in different colours according to your destination.
