Yuchengco Museum
- The Yuchengco Museum is a young establishment which opened in September of 2005.
- Originally built to house the art collection.
- It highlights the colorful and distinguished career of Ambassador Alfonso T. Yuchengco.
- Located in the heart of Makati’s financial district.
- The museum is now home to a handful of permanent exhibits, workshops and cultural programs.
What can you find there?
- Enjoy the Masters Gallery featuring the stunning work of three celebrated master painters - Juan Luna, Fernando C. Amorsolo and Carlos “Botong” Francisco.
- See the personal favorites of Ambassador Yuchengco in the museum’s permanent collection.
- View the Suspended Garden installation, meant to resemble a floating Japanese Zen garden, at the Cone Room.
- Explore the Sino-Filipino Expressions Exhibit.
- Take part in culture and development talks to learn more about Filipino art, culture and heritage.
- Try the museum’s Shui Mo traditional Chinese painting workshop.
- Take a virtual tour of the museum as designed by the Multimedia Arts students of the Mapua Institute of Technology.
