Locally known as “Savan” and officially called as Kaysone Phomvihane.
Savannakhet is the capital of the Savannakhet Province and is located along the river Mekong in the southern part of Laos.

Flights and buses are all available to reach this city with ease, whereas the internal city travel is via motorcycles, private vehicles and via the local tuk-tuks.
