Wat Khao Takiap
- A Buddhist temple complexon “Chopsticks Hill” (KhaoTakiap), 6 kilometers south from Hua Hincentre
- It straddles a 272-meter tall hill that protrudes out into the Gulf of Thailand and is noticeable from beaches to the north and south
What can you find there?
- A shrine shaped like a blooming white lotus flower sits halfway up the hillside
- Discover the eclectic mix of Buddhist statues, as well as a Hungry Buddha, many-headed Buddha at the parking lot area
- Macaque monkeys which live on the temple grounds. They are the inspiration for Monk the Monkey
