Wat Chiang Man
- One of the oldest temple which dates back to around 1290’s
What can you find there?
- The most prominent feature to view there is the oldest Buddha – a clear quartz crystal Buddha which was recovered in the 1460’s
- In order to shun away the stress of travelling, meditation halls are present in its vicinity
- The library temple also stores the historic scriptures which can be viewed by the visitors from a distance
- Other smaller Buddha are there for viewing as well
- A beautiful lotus pond gives the place a fine touch
