About Bukit Panjang Bus Interchange

The Bukit Panjang Bus Interchange is a major transportation hub in Singapore's Bukit Panjang New Town. It is located in Hillion Mall. Strategically positioned diagonally opposite Bukit Panjang Plaza and adjacent to Bukit Panjang MRT and LRT stations, making it easy for commuters to get where they need to go.

A few changes have been made to the interchange over the years. In the beginning, it was built in 1986 as the Zhenghua Bus Terminal to support Zhenghua New Town development. After that, it was relocated to Petir Road and renamed to the Bukit Panjang Bus Terminal in 1987. On 26 December 1999, the Bukit Panjang Bus Interchange commenced operations at the junction of Jelebu Road and Petir Road, replacing the older terminal. To facilitate the development of the Bukit Panjang Integrated Transport Hub (ITH), the interchange was closed on 16 December 2012, with bus services temporarily relocated to a different location. The new interchange in Hillion Mall finally opened on September 4, 2017, with amenities functioning together to make it accessible to commuters.
