Basilica del Santo Nino

Founded on April 28, 1565 by Father Andres de Urdaneta.
The Basilica del Santo Niño is largely regarded as the mother and head of all churches in the Philippines.
It is the oldest Roman Catholic church that was built in the country.
The convent is known to be the Sanctuary of the Santo Nino.
It has housed the oldest religious images in the Philippines ever since 1739.
