Pudu Sentral Bus TerminalPreviously known as Puduraya Bus Station, this important bus terminal has been serving trips going in and out of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia since 1975 by the late former Prime Minister Tun Hussein Onn. Strategically located in KL city centre, it went through a facelift in the year 2010 and reopened on 16th April 2011, but then was renamed as Pudu Sentral Bus Terminal on 27th August 2011 after “Pudu Sentral” was suggested to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak through Twitter. Long-distance buses that were operating here have been moved to Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS) at Bandar Tasik Selatan (BTS) Integrated Transport Terminal since then. How to get to Pudu Sentral Bus Terminal?

The terminal is located close to many amazing tourist attractions such as Central Market, Masjid Jamek, Petaling Street and Dataran Merdeka, which makes Pudu Sentral such a convenient station for all your travelling needs. There are various ways to get to the station conveniently, but the most popular would be with the RapidKL train that stops at Plaza Rakyat, which is located right next to Pudu Sentral within a 5 minutes’ walk.

If you are coming from Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS), hop on Bandar Tasik Selatan station straight to the Pasar Rakyat station using Rapid KL’s Ampang Line train service. Upon arriving at Masjid Jamek station, switch trains from the Kelana Jaya Line located underground to the elevated Ampang Line then choose the stop at Pasar Rakyat next to the Puduraya Bus Station.
