Kanami Ferry Terminal

In South Papua, where there aren't many roads and rivers act as routes, Kanami Ferry Terminal is one of the most important places for getting around in Mappi Regency. The port, which is on the banks of the Obaa River, is a key part of connecting the town of Kanami to bigger economic and political centers like Merauke and Eci.

As part of the Indonesian government's plan to make border areas easier to get to, the Kanami Ferry Terminal was built to handle both passenger and goods traffic.
